Bryson DeChambeau signs with Cobra Puma Golf & Bridgestone Golf

Cobra Puma Golf recently announced its long-term partnership with US Amateur champion Bryson DeChambeau. Last year the 22-year-old phenom became the fifth golfer ever in history to win the NCAA Men’s Individual Championship and the U.S. Amateur in the same calendar year. Bryson’s accomplishments coupled with Cobra Puma’s latest announcement means this year he will wear Puma apparel and play Cobra clubs as a professional golfer. DeChambeau was spotted last month trying the new King F6+ driver, King F6 fairway wood, a King Utility iron and King wedges–so it’s no surprise that Cobra Puma would be his preferred choice as soon as he turned professional. However for the time being DeChambeau will still play his Edel prototype, single-length irons.

Known for his unorthodox approach and classic style, Bryson DeChambeau has drawn plenty of attention over last six months. After coming off a tie for 21st last week at the Masters–he’s definitely one to watch.

“I believe that I found the perfect partner in COBRA PUMA GOLF,” DeChambeau stated. “The COBRA and PUMA brands complement my style, attitude and desire to be innovative, while allowing me to continue to be myself, and think outside the box. I’m really thrilled to be part of this cutting-edge and creative company.”

Bryson also joins the #1 ball-fitter in golf, Bridgestone Golf. “The Golf Scientist” will play the 2016 Tour B330-S golf ball and Bridgestone gloves.

“I take every part of my game seriously and spend a considerable amount of time thinking about how each element will allow me to compete at the highest level,” stated DeChambeau. “When it was time to make a decision on the golf ball I would use as a professional, it was clear after a thorough review that Bridgestone Golf’s Tour B330-S was the best fit for me.  I’m excited to be a part of Bridgestone’s team and benefit from the precision they put into each and every ball made.”

DeChambeau is playing his first professional tournament this Thursday at the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head.  Check out what will be in Bryson’s bag moving forward;
