Well, the thrill was short-lived.
Just confirmed on TigerWoods.com:
“After a lot of soul searching and honest reflection, I know that I am not yet ready to play on the PGA TOUR or compete in Turkey. My health is good, and I feel strong, but my game is vulnerable and not where it needs to be.”
Just weeks after Tiger announced his plans to return to golf after 14 months off for surgery and recovery, he has pulled the plugged and withdrawn his entrance. No further details are available at this time, but between the lengthy layoff, multiple surgery recoveries and a game that at last appearance was hardly Tiger-like, Woods likely as multiple reasons to push back his return. He has also confirmed he will not play in the Turkish Airlines Open.
His next slated competitive appearance is at the Tiger Woods Foundation-backed Hero World Challenge.
