COBRA Introduces the KING F7 & KING Forged Tour Irons

COBRA is all-in on single-length irons, but they aren’t just a one-trick pony for 2017. Joining the ONE LENGTH sets we introduced earlier are the KING F7 and KING FORGED irons, which promise routes to lower scores for players of all levels.

COBRA KING F7 IRONS

COBRA is billing the the F7 as their best progressive iron, which quite a claim in a year that’s bringing us 3 sets that already have fans clamoring for a release date. Key technologies for this distance iron include progressive set technology, which COBRA calls PWRSHELL, that moves weight lower and hollows out the club head as we move toward the long irons, helping achieve more ball speed and easier launch conditions. A matching KING F7 Hybrid will be available as a long iron replacement (more on that at a later date).

KEY FEATURES

TECFLO (PROGRESSIVE SET TECHNOLOGY)
A full hollow design with face insert in the long irons (3i-5i) delivers low CG with a highly responsive face for easier to hit, higher flying long irons. A half hollow design in the mid irons (6i-7i) provies an extremely thin face deseign with added discretionary weight for optimal CG positioning which delivers more precise, easy to hit mid irons for more greens in regulation. The cavity back design in the scoring irons (8i-PW) allows for a low/back CG position that provides more spin and added shot control, and a specialty wedge design (GW-SW) provides added versatility and shot control around the greens.

PWRSHELL FACE
More distance. More forgiving. More precise. A thinner, stronger face and sole structure delivers our largest Sweet Zone ever with higher ball speeds and explosive distance.

ZONE WEIGHTING
Weight is strategically removed from the center of the clubhead and redistributed around the perimeter of the face and lower and further back.
